It is used as a general – purpose undercoat for interior/exterior painting works. It is recommended to apply National Red Oxide Primer on steel surfaces, prior to apply undercoat. It can be over coated with National Synthetic Enamel or National Emulsion Paints. It is not suitable for application on Zinc primed steel or for continuous marine environments. It is used for only air – drying applications.
It is a high performing alkyd based, non – absorbent intermediate coat to provide maximum hold out for the topcoats. It can be applied for interior/exterior surfaces and has very good adhesion. It hides the minor surface imperfections and gives maximum performances to topcoats over which it is being applied. It has very good leveling and coverage also.
